Some Things You Might Like to Know

How does an avocado subscription work?

1. Select your box size: 6 pack, 12 pack or 10kgs! (10kg is about 30 – 40 avocados, depending on the variety).
2. Choose your frequency: one-off or a monthly delivery.
3. Sit back and google avocado recipes while you wait for your avocados to be delivered to your door.

When can I expect my avocados?

All subscription orders are delivered on the 4th Tuesday/Wednesday of each month! You will receive an email once your avos are on their way! 
All one off orders are delivered on Tuesday/Wednesday. All orders must be in by Monday 5pm for delivery that week. 

What's the best way to store my avocados?

Well.. Did you know that avocados do not ripen until they are picked? And because we send them to you unripe and still firm, they will take a week or two to ripen.
We recommend placing your avocados in a fruit bowl at room temperature (above 15ºC) and leaving them to ripen naturally. But to help spread them out across the month you can place some in the fridge to slow down the ripening process. For the best results, let them ripen in the fruit bowl first and then place them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat. If they are in the fridge they won't ripen.
Avocados will keep in the fridge for 1-2 weeks once ripened but any longer than that and they might go a bit funny!  If you would like to speed up the ripening process, place some in a warmer spot or in a brown paper bag with a banana.

Do you deliver to rural areas?

Not yet, but we are working on it! We’ve had lots of enquiries about rural and regional delivery, so it’s high on the priority list.

Are the avocados organic?

The avocados are not organic; however, most varieties are pesticide free. If you’d like to know if the upcoming supply is grown in a pesticide free orchard, please send us an email and we’ll let you know.

What if I want to cancel my subscription early?

The minimum subscription period is 3 months, after that you can cancel at any time. All cancellation notices must be in by 5pm on the Monday before your delivery is due. To cancel, simply email

I'M moving house! How do I update my subscription address?

No problem. As long as your new address is within our delivery catchment area, this can be arranged. Please get in touch with us directly at to update your delivery address.

Will my avocados be ripe when they arrive?

We have learned that ripe avos don't travel that well (after all, you ordered avocados, not guacamole). So, to ensure that your avos arrive alive, we send all our avocados out hard and green.

Fun Fact: Avocados do not begin to ripen until they are picked. We aim to send all of our avocados out within 24-48hrs of being picked. Once you receive your avocados, they will generally take between 7-10 days to ripen at room temperature from when they arrive. Can't handle 12 ripe avos all at once?  No, stress. Each box of avocados come with specific ripening instructions so you can speed up or slow down the ripening of your avos.

I’d like to buy an avocado subscription (or a one-off purchase) as a gift.
Is this possible?

YES! We happen to believe that a tray of avocados is the perfect gift! (And the person receiving them usually agrees). You can purchase a gift voucher or email with any special requests. 

What about those of us who live outside NSW or VIC? We want avos too!

Unfortunately, due to strict quarantine restrictions we cannot post to SA, TAS, WA or NT. Currently due to COVID-19, delivery to QLD is difficult too.
That being said, we are exploring interstate delivery options and will update you all if/when we can expand our delivery locations.

Can I change or cancel my order once I've placed it?

If you want to change or cancel your order please email with your order details as soon as possible and we will try and help. Unfortunately, once the order has been shipped, it's yours.

Are my avocados guaranteed to be the best avocados ever?!

100%! The avocados you receive will be the best quality avocados in Australia (and probably the world). If you are not happy with your avocados, let us know and we will refund you for your purchase or send you another box.
